Building on its ‘global content discovery portfolio’, announced at NAB 2016, Ericsson used the NAB Show this year to unveil its ‘TV content discovery ecosystem’ that brings together partners including ColorTV and XroadMedia to combine TV and movie data sources and software services that help understand and act on television-related data. More partners are promised later this year, with Thorsten Sauer, Vice President and Head of Broadcast and Media Services at Ericsson explaining that the aim is to provide “a one-stop-shop to enable personalized navigation and discovery solutions across every platform and screen.”
